Besides music from America, many artists also create music that ranges from various topics such as diss tracks to songs about political and social issues. In this segment, DJ Yanka focused on the more serious side and how artists bring awareness about issues in their home countries. With the current war between Israel and Palestine. Artists such as Shadia Mansour use music as a way to spread awareness. In her song “Al Kufiyyeh 3arabeyyeh” she talks about the Palestinian struggle through the “kufiyyeh” (Arabic scraf) which is a symbol of Arabic identity.
