Tracklist:

Krithi Rao - Decrepit

This track is a cross between trip-hop and trap, with some percussion from South India. Krithi wanted to create something almost meditative that could be played on loop.

Fyütch & Boba Sweat- I Still Believe in Love, Pt. 2

After the super romantic vibes of I Still Believe in Love, Part 1, part 2 explores whether true love actually exists and the near impossible task of finding a "soul mate." Produced by Hip-Hop/electronic producer, Boba Sweat.

theoretic - cosmic injury

Great percussive vibe on this one.

Zac Hills - I Cannot See

A young kid from Harlem, New York City, trying to put on for his city and be great, Zac Hills started rapping around his sophomore year of high school but didn’t start taking his career seriously till 2019. Now his adventure begins and he’s dropping consistent music for his fans that he loves and hopes to be an inspiration to all of them one day. Zac Hills talks about depression, anger, happiness, literally anything you feel emotionally, he’s done it. Trying to connect with you on a deeper level with his music to inspire you to be good.

G Silva - Litty House

“I made this beat on Audiotool when I was teaching at WinNYC in East New York. One of my students said ‘That's litty’ so I decided to name it that. A lot of the tracks I'd make using the apps I was teaching with was a way for me to set up a lesson plan on how to teach a feature in the program or a certain technique in production.” - G Silva

PlayPlay - Kovsky

This is a track PlayPlay began when working with the bbConnect livestreaming series over the summer. They did a workshop on sampling in Ableton and used chopped up a Tchaikovsky sample in several ways.

P.U.D.G.E. - As U Hear It (tha Volume)

This track was composed in Serato Studio (sidenote: check out P.U.D.G.E.’s Serato Studio tutorial!)

JaidaBee - Go Crazy!!

This is a house track featuring electrifying synths, drums & bass.

Dale Novella - Horns in a Meeting

Horns in a Meeting details a fast ride away from your last zoom meeting of the day through explosive horns and haunting synths.

Bunche - Killin’ Em (Clean Version)

“This is my 2nd release as a bbLeader, coming of a smash hit named "O.D" which has accumulated a total of almost 3,00 plays on my SoundCloud! I actually shot a music video with a a fellow bbLeader named Mason Rosse and the music video is coming soon on my YouTube channel!” - Bunche

Pozibelle - Timedrop

This track was made with an MPC500 & a PO-33 in April 2020.

Sarah Mari - Falling

A song about diving into a new romantic experience with someone with the uncertainty of really knowing this person but really feeling yourself connect with them regardless; and how light and airy it can feel.

Chaz Van Queen - Don’t Ever Disrespect

This song is directly inspired by the urgency of the present. The metaphoric and literal shaking of the cage. The song contains field recordings and sounds of our city, NYC.

MasonR - 3.0

“I chose this beat because it is simple yet really catchy and I think that it would be really easy to rap over. It kinda reminds me of Metro Boomin.” -MasonR

J1 - Wizard

Certified heat from bbLeader J1.

SammAyOnTheBeat - The Abyss

“The Abyss” is a reflection of deep thought that the mind goes through in random moments. Immersive yet laid back in its approach, “The Abyss” fuses boom bap over a soft instrumental.

Raymoney G - Evolution

A trap style beat with a hard flute by bbLeader Raymoney G.

Po Beats - Pluto Nash is a Robit

It has a very alien / anime type vibe - basically a bit of Gravity Falls-themed.

You can now stream this compilation on Soundcloud and purchase on Bandcamp; stay tuned for Volume 2!
