2020-2021 Annual Report

This was one of our most challenging years as an organization, navigating a post-pandemic world, but also one of our most rewarding years.

We’ve been able to grow our partnerships beyond New York City and now partner with schools in Los Angeles to increase our impact during a time of need for young people all over the world. Our future is now firmly headed towards helping youth everywhere.

With the return to in-person programming, we hosted our first Summer Camp program at Governors Island thanks to our friends at the Beam Center. Many of our students were able to meet each other in-person for the first time and many DJ sets were completed.

We’re ecstatic to see the growth of our team and our community as we navigate an uncertain future together. We’re looking forward to building life skills by Building Beats for 2021 and beyond.

Thanks to our many supporters through the years, but especially these past few years, who have helped us continue pushing forward on our mission of expanding music and DJ programs that integrate life, leadership and entrepreneurial skills to young people everywhere.
