Life of A (Quaran)TEEN

This sample pack consists of household objects and instruments. I decided to use objects such as a pill container, pen, my own nails, and the back of a ukulele to create percussive noises. I wanted to alter the sounds substantially in order to make them sound different than they did originally, so I placed many effects on the recordings. I used reverb and delay on many of my sounds. Additionally, I chose to change the pitch of some of the sounds to make sure that they were almost unrecognizable. I did not want it to be obvious that I used these objects. I decided to change the pitch of all of my sounds after I recorded them. Specifically, when I initially recorded the pen sound, it was extremely high-pitched and clearly sounded like two objects hitting each other. I clicked the edit button, then clicked change pitch, and I was finally able to create a more full and deep sound by bringing the pitch down. This is one tip that I highly suggest if you would like to completely alter one of your sounds.
