Riel Paley

Workshop Leader

Sky Paley is a professional story teller who hails from the island of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

He has successfully worked in film, TV, stage, and audio as a writer, producer, director, actor, and educator for the past 20 years.

Paley is perhaps best known for his critically acclaimed one-man play Antiman, which he first workshopped with The Echo Theater Company. It premiered in Los Angeles in 2011 to positive notices from the LA Weekly ("...a Triumph!"). The play has since gone on to sold out performances in New York and Toronto with particular attention paid to his mesmerizing transformation into a local West Indian.

He is presently the Artistic Director of the LA THTR TRUK bringing THTR directly to the broad and diverse communities of Los Angeles.
