Ballroom originated from Harlem drag balls, largely developing in late 70s/early 80s in NYC into the vibrant scene we know today, with ballroom communities sprouting up now all over the world.

The mission has always been the same: to support Black and Brown queer and trans youth who need a safe place to express themselves through dance, music, and fashion.
