One such platform is bbLeaders Radio, a monthly show hosted at Newtown Radio and curated by Shira "DJ Shi Shi" Dennis and Sam Lee’s bbLeader Coordinator for aspiring student DJs, artists, and producers. A creative life is an amplified life, and Building Beats helps to amplify the voices of the next generation of artists and musicians. From original songs, DJ sets, and group discussions these young individuals are finding ways to connect with their community as well as people from all around the world. where each month, students collaborate to plan their episode theme.

For many, music is a form of therapy, a way to process their feelings and cope with the challenges of growing up in a fast-paced city.
Newtown Radio
has been created as a platform for talented individuals to showcase their content to their fans. The show has been adopted by the station as a sister show to the highly successful "Newtown Sessions" and is aimed at providing an exclusive and intimate experience to the audience during every show.
