Building Beats Summer DJ Camp 2021
We had an incredible time for our first ever Summer DJ Camp on Governor’s Island, as part of Beam Center’s programming! Our students learned the fundamentals of DJ’ing, mixing, blending, cutting, scratching, using sound FX and more.
We had some professional DJs come through to provide their experience and answer questions from our students including world renowned DJ Reborn and Serato representative OP!
On Sept 3rd, we hosted our final showcase on the island, powered by Karlala Soundsystem.
