Scratch DJ Academy Summer Workshops

Over the summer, Building Beats and Scratch Academy are co-hosting DJ’ing workshops for students across the city at the Scratch NY office in downtown Manhattan. In the first workshop, the students were not only given a lesson on turntabalism from Scratch Academy’s highly acclaimed instructors, they also had the opportunity to speak with professional DJs including Brenmar, Jubilee, Geko Jones, NiRE, Michael Jukeson and Phi Unit about what it takes to build a career in this industry.
