Support Black Artists on Bandcamp - Some of Our Picks
Last week, Bandcamp once again waived all revenue shares on sales and artists received 100% of their profits from music they sold on the platform. Many of us are donating to Black organizations in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter protests going on all over the world against ongoing systemic racism & police murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, Tony McDade and countless others, and buying music from Black artists on Bandcamp is another great way to financially support. After all, we wouldn’t have most of the music we have today if it weren’t for the Black innovators who have created countless musical genres that we know and love.
Mark your calendars for June 19th: Bandcamp announced that they will be donating 100% of their share of sales to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund on Juneteenth.
