FeM Synth Lab x Girls Are Loud Mix Engineering Workshop with Eva Resitad

In this online workshop Eva will take you through some tips and tricks to have a successful recording session with multiple musicians playing in the room live. They’ll cover the process of preparing for a recording session, steps to take to keep it running smoothly once you’ve started recording, and what to do once you’ve gotten all your material down on tape. Turning your recordings into a final product and great sounding mix can be a daunting task so part of this workshop will cover some basic mixing techniques and lingo that will help you explain what you would like to hear to your engineer or producer, or even do the mix yourself.

Eva Resitad is an audio engineer/producer who lives for music and the process of making it. Her experience in the audio field is vast - ranging from session managing and engineering at indie rock studio Kingsize Soundlabs in Los Angeles, working in film scoring with notable names such as Alan Meyerson and Hans Zimmer, and freelance editing, mixing and tracking for a variety of artists including Girls Are Loud.
