The administrative is a fast-paced startup environment, giving interns exposure to a range of job-transferable skills and experiences such as Information and Technology Systems Management, Data Collection, Business Development, Sales and Marketing, Graphic Design, etc. Each internship will be crafted according to the applicant's interests and existing skillsets. Overall, Building Beats interns can expect to learn the ins and outs of running a nonprofit startup while working with a passionate and dedicated staff of entrepreneurs, youth advocates, and music industry professionals. Building Beats internships are currently unpaid.
Since Building Beats' founding, our work has been buttressed by the generous support of volunteers who believe in our mission to empower youth through music. As we have no standardized volunteer program, please be as concise as possible in the application below as to how you envision yourself contributing to Building Beats. In the past, volunteers have assisted in our workshops, staffed our special events, and provided enriching extracurricular experiences for our students.
