A Harlem native, Kory Y. McBride is the CEO and Founder of K McBride Consulting LLC. As an educational consultant, he partners with schools, organizations, students, and families to strengthen postsecondary readiness and create pathways toward long-term success.

Throughout his career, Kory has worked extensively in education, youth development, and college access, collaborating with the New York City Department of Education, community based organizations, K–12 schools, colleges, and universities to expand opportunities and improve outcomes for students and families.

His professional contributions have earned him several distinctions, including being named the State University of New York, NYC College Counselor of the Year and receiving the Distinguished Service Award for Community Based Organizations from NYSACAC. Throughout his career, Kory has served and continues to serve on numerous boards, advisory committees, and professional organizations. He was also featured in the documentary The Test & the Art of Thinking, which examines standardized testing and its impact on students and the college admission process.
