BBWORKSHOPS *

inspiring youth through musiC, technology, and creativity

bbWorkshops delivers hands-on programs in music production, DJ’ing, podcasting, and music coding for students from kindergarten through young adulthood. Led by professional DJs, producers, and creatives, our workshops bring real-world skills and energy straight into schools, after-school programs, and community spaces.

We partner with site coordinators and educators to design programming that meets your goals, whether it’s a one-day workshop, multi-week residency, or full-year program. Students leave with increased creative confidence, entrepreneurial thinking, and digital literacy skills that prepare them for the future.

As an approved NYC DOE vendor and partner with DYCD programs across all five boroughs, we make it easy to bring high-quality, culturally relevant arts education to your site. We also offer programming in Los Angeles.

  • What our partners have to say:

The Uptown Hub has been proudly partnering with Building Beats for over five years, and the impact on our youth has been nothing short of transformative.

Building Beats offers far more than music education, it provides a vital outlet for self-expression, creativity, and confidence. Through hands-on workshops and meaningful mentorship, our young people have discovered new talents, gained valuable technical skills, and formed lasting connections with both mentors and peers.

The program consistently empowers our youth to find their voice and believe in their potential, not just in music, but in all areas of life. We've witnessed incredible growth, resilience, and purpose sparked by this work, and we are truly grateful for the continued partnership and positive influence Building Beats brings to our youth and program.

Thank you again for working with us this summer! Judah was amazing as always and our members REALLY enjoyed the program.
