Make a tax deductible donation
Your gift fuels hands-on music education and creative technology programs for young people across New York City and beyond. Donations support teaching artists, equipment, and youth-centered programming that turns creativity into transferable skills and real-world opportunity.
Donations can be made securely online, by ACH or wire transfer or by mail.
In-kind donation
Sometimes the most impactful support isn’t financial—it’s sharing what you already have. We accept donations of music and DJ equipment, production tools, event or rehearsal space, and professional services that support our work behind the scenes.
Your in-kind gift helps equip classrooms, activate community events, and create real-world learning environments for youth exploring creative pathways.

Bring the energy of NYC’s next-generation talent to your event! We train the next wave of DJs through our bbLeaders program. Each booking supports real-world experience, paid work, and career growth for young creatives.
Our DJs are available to perform at school functions, community events, weddings, festivals, corporate gatherings and more. Equipment rental is available.

Donuts Are Forever is Building Beats’ signature annual fundraiser and cultural tribute—bringing together artists, community members, and supporters to celebrate music, legacy, and creative education. Sponsorship support helps make this event possible while directly funding free and low-cost music and creative technology programs for youth.
By sponsoring Donuts Are Forever, partners gain meaningful visibility while investing in equitable access to arts education, workforce pathways, and youth creativity. Sponsorships support event production, student opportunities, and year-round programming that reaches thousands of young people each year.
From the Booth to the Block
From the Booth to the Block invites local DJs, promoters, venues, and nightlife spaces to turn the energy of their events into direct support for youth music education. Get involved by hosting a benefit party with Building Beats as your nonprofit partner or donating a portion of door or bar proceeds from an upcoming event.
Volunteer with us
We’re always looking for community members who want to support youth creativity. Volunteer opportunities include mentoring students, serving as a guest artist or speaker, and helping with events, workshops, and fundraisers and any other skill you can bring! Your time and perspective help young people see what’s possible—both creatively and professionally.
